My original plan to go to New Mexico with Sergey didn’t work out because of his other commitments, so I guess that trip will have to be postponed to some other weekend. The good news, however, is that I’m taking a week of vacation to travel with my family! We first planned to fly out to California and take a trip from southern California to San Francisco and fly back to Denver from there. But driving for extended periods of time with a toddler and an infant in their car seats is tough, so we found a solution to the problem.
I rented an RV for a week and hopefully it will work out great with the kids. It is much easier to stop and let the kids relax before driving again and they don’t find it as bad as driving in a car because there is much more space. I don’t have to worry about booking a hotel either, because the RV has everything we need in it, including a shower and a refrigerator. Plus, it is cheaper :)
I will be taking my gear with me and hopefully the weather will cooperate.
