We spotted this beauty today on the way to Deer Creek Canyon from Chatfield State Park. The weather was getting nasty and it started to rain, which didn’t stop me from getting out of the car and taking pictures of her.

She was jumping around, hunting rodents in the area. After about 10-15 minutes, she got a squirrel for dinner. My wife didn’t want me to post graphic images of the fox consuming the squirrel and then burying the leftover parts, but I still decided to post the below photo. I just felt that the story wouldn’t be interesting if I didn’t include at least some detail :)

After about 20-25 minutes of non-stop action, she ran away…
