Have been busy at work during the last two weeks and haven’t had much time to work on the latest pictures and panoramas from sand dunes that Sergey and I visited several weeks ago. At the same time, planning to try the new Windows 7 and Lightroom 3 beta on my PC to see how I like them. Hopefully Lightroom 3 will be able to work better and faster with large catalogs (mine is getting close to 1 GB).
Oh yeah, I’m also leaving for a short business trip to Las Vegas this Sunday.
P.S. I’m working on several articles on digital photography that I’m planning to publish later this week.

Hi, Nasim, thank you for sharing so much your working experience on a PC platform. I’ve spent quite some time on your blog to learn. Here, I wonder if you could share some experience about working with such a large catalog file. Furthermore, I learnt you backup photos quite often. Do you keep a whole set of photos on your PC? If not, how do you manage to find particular photos over a bunch of disks? This is a question obsessing me for a long time. I want to figure out a sound solution before I got drowned by all those disks and photos. Would you like to shed some insights on this? Thank you.
