Great landscape images! I chanced upon some D3s review by you and happened to look at your wedding images. As I am not in this field of wedding photography but I am taking it for my sister wedding end of the year. Just to look for different perspective by American style as we are Asian chinese style.
I really like your pics from Antelope Canyon. I’m going there next month and I’m excited to go wild in there with my camera. What lenses did you use? Any filters? Was it difficult to get a good shot without other tourists in the way?
So many photographers are just fantastic at showing the diversity of their experiences through their websites. Often the most simplistic approaches allow you to truly focus on the quality of one’s art, while more breadth gives you a lot of fantastic ideas in any number of artistic inquiries.
The only photographs that I like is in this, landscape photography section.
You are a landcape pro right? Cause seriously, all the birds sections, especially wildlife section doesn’t show any ‘professional’ kind of work. Most of the subjects are dead centre.
Don’t get me wrong. I have nothing against you. in fact I like your Gear review section..
Kery, thank you for your feedback, I really appreciate it!
The photos in this portfolio are quite old (have not had a chance to update this section), so please see my “wallpapers” section instead. You are right, most of the images in the portfolio are bad. I will clean it up one of these days.
I don’t what website you are looking but the wildlife and bird sections are excellent. Just because the photographer has a certain framing style different from yours does not make the image of less quality. You need to open your mind-there are no set rules when it comes to excellent photography.
Andrew, thank you for your comment. I do need to update the gallery though, because many of the images here are old/bad and unsorted. I will soon redo the gallery completely and post some good photos there instead. This gallery is only temporary…
Very nice series Nashim. I would like see much of your works but meanwhile would love to know the camera settings and lens also what you have use for these pix… :-)
I am going to Alaska next month to shoot landscapes and tie Idiarod dog sled race. I cannot decide whether to take my Nikon d3s or d3x. I have limited space and must make a choice. I was thinking maybe the d3s would work better since it shoots a little faster and has a higher ISO. In March the daytime light is very limited so it seems like the d3s would be an advantage
However I really like my d3x and the higher pixel count. What are your thoughts? I sure appreciate any input
Great pictures of a great and very nice photographer!
keep on the good work!
Thank you Sebastien! It was very nice to meet you. I will let you know when I plan to go to California.
Looking forward to seeing your pictures from this weekend!

Hi! May I ask the lens you used for most of these photos? Cheers!
Marris, see this post on the lenses I use for landscapes: http://mansurovs.com/best-nikon-lenses-for-landscape-photography
