We’ve just come back from a local park, where we watched the Independence Day fireworks. We arrived at around 9 PM (fireworks were supposed to start at 9:30 PM) and it was impossible to find a parking spot. The area around the park was closed by the local police and we had to drive into neighborhoods to find parking. All close-by neighborhoods were packed with cars and as I was driving, I noticed an old man waving at me. I stopped, rolled down my window and he offered his parking spot right outside of his house. How nice of him! And he was only one block away from the park! We found a very nice area by a baseball field and waited for about 20 minutes there before the fireworks began.
The show was great! A full 30 minutes of non-stop fireworks action with stunning twists and combinations.
The New Year fireworks really sucked compared to these!
It would have been perfect if we stood a little higher and further away, so that I could aim my camera at the right spot. It was a little tough to shoot the fireworks, since some of them exploded lower, while others higher and changing the camera direction with shutter speeds between 2-8 seconds was tough!
Nevertheless, it was definitely worth it, especially because of Omar – he just loves fireworks.

Nice shots as always. Brought back good memories.
WebMonster: Thank you! Did you live in the US before?
MegaZ: No it was just a short trip with the university professors. Had an unforgettable experience including watching fireworks at Charles River in Boston MA.
Wow and Wow! But it’s not banal exclamation. The letters of a word ‘Wow’ show some picture of men who rising up their hands and looking at fireworks shoot by Mr. Nasim Mansurov…
Bobur-aka: Thank you for the feedback! :)
