After four thousand miles, eight National Parks and Disney Land, we are finally back home! What a blast! It was a stunning, eleven day long trip across the Western USA. We started out from Colorado, then went to Utah, Arizona, Nevada and California. Here is the complete route that I created in Google Maps (it is not very accurate, as I was just clicking without zooming in).
I have about 60 GB of photos (14-bit NEF RAW) from the trip that need to be sorted through and organized. I shot handheld 99% of the time in “point and shoot” mode without any accessories that I typically take with me (tripod, filters, etc). We simply didn’t have much time for that type of photography and the schedule was too tight, since there was much to see. So stay tuned and I will start uploading pics this week.
