My vision of Snowmass, Aspen and Crested Butte

Recently my husband posted some pictures from our trip to Crested Butte. I decided to follow his footsteps and document my perspective of a couple of days that we spent on the road.

Irina and Max: Anytime

They were from the same city, went to the same university and had the same professor. Due to family circumstances, Max had to leave his hometown and moved to the United States. Time traveled, years passed, but their destiny was still tied and it would soon let know of itself.

After Max graduated from a university in the United States, he decided to visit his grandfather in Tashkent. Max's grandfather was (and still is) a professor at a university where he studied prior to moving to US. Their story starts to unfold from that point. With his grandfather's guidance Max met Irina, who happened to be one of the best students of his grandfather. They instantly fell in love with each other. Max met that one girl, who lived in the same town, went to the same university and had the same professor, who would later become her grandfather-in-law...

Here they are, still going strong. They are an amazing, energetic, smart and beautiful couple, who we had a lot of fun taking pictures of. The photo shoot was one of the longest we've had so far, thanks to their patience, creativity and willingness to experiment with newbies like us :) Thank you Irina and Max, you are the best!!!

Roxana and Karim: Anytime

Ever since Roxana and Karim met each other, they have been bonding more and more, despite the fact that they live in two different countries and see each other only occasionally...

Right around the corner is the day when she is going to be departing for another journey, stretching the strong and infinite ribbon of love between them. He will wish a safe flight to her one more time and will promise to be there at designated time, at designated location. Even though it is several months from now, even though there might be obstacles, she knows he will be there.

In honor of your big love and strong relationship, let us present you this bouquet of photographs to help you remember where you've been and to help you look forward for the day you will meet again in the land of pure romance - France!

Saida and Jasur: Anytime

I met Saida and Jasur three days ago when they came to visit us. I've heard a lot about them from my husband before, as they went to University of Colorado with him together and have been his dear friends ever since.

Saida and Jasur have been together for more than ten years and have a handsome little son, Timur. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to meet Timur, because he had to stay at home with his grandma to avoid a long and painful all day flight from Tashkent. These guys are a beautiful and down to earth couple and are very devoted friends. I did take an advantage of our first meeting and conveniently talked them into photographing them and placing their pics on our blog. That's the price you pay for being too nice to moi! :) Between short hikes, trips and picnics, I believe my husband and I managed to snap some nice and memorable shots of them...
