Hi Nasim you are doing a great job, This site is one of my favorite site….well my query is the photos in the page ( http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2008/09/21/25-beautiful-macro-photography-shots-photos/) is the original photos without editing or edited photo???? Is it possible to take macro photos with this much clarity without editing(crop or w/o photoshop)???

Arun, you will need to have a very good macro setup to accomplish that kind of detail as shown on the website. First, you need a good macro lens like the Nikon 105mm f/2.8G. Next, you will need a good macro flash system like this.

If you take a macro image well, you will not need to do much post-processing – most of the details will be done on-camera with the right technique…

Hi Nasim thanks for your immediate reply, BTW i am just a beginner but lots n lot of interest in Macro, without any prior knowledge about photography i bought point and shoot sony W 210, but after going through many articles about photography i am little bit dissatisfied about point n shoot, anyway i have learnt many things with this, so is there any way to upgrade my digicam esp for macro? if so mention some accessories? or else i have to go for DSLR?

Arun, if you are serious about macro photography, then you would need to go with a DSLR. No matter what accessories you use, a point and shoot will remain as a point and shoot camera.

Great shot. The “pink” flower seems to stick out like real. Neat!
