Well, I’m not even a quarter of a way into selecting the best of 2009. Lots of pictures and almost no time, but I’ll get there :)

For now, enjoy these two picks at 1920×1200 resolution for widescreen monitors. If you have a lower resolution widescreen monitor, the picture should scale back to fit your screen. If you have a square monitor, then you are out of luck :) Let me know if it a problem and I can make an attempt to go back and crop it.

    Dear Sir
    I want to thank you for sharing your wonderful gift of teaching thru writingI just got a D3000 kit for Christmas. and after 3 thick books i was mostly using the auto feature more often than not.
    Every article i’ve read of yours just says it exactly like I need to hear it. That may sound silly but you are truly gifted as much so with a pen and paper as with your camera.I have your Blog? on my favorites list. I guess this is what you call a blog.
    My band just made a new CD and I did all the photo and special effects on it. so again thank you and I will be reading and looking
