UzDessert was
restructured/redesigned and turned into a portal. It now has over 300 pages of content, including the Uzbek cuisine, history, music, fine arts, cinema, literature and fashion. A lot of new
mp3s are added to the music section. 3 Uzbek videos are coming soon from UzDessert !

Umid World, Choyhona, UzDessert, Arts-Academy and some other projects are to be nominated in Uzbekistan Internet Festival. The Internet Festival is
sponsored by such organizations as: UN, UzPAK, Press Service of the President, Ministry of Culture, Esezam and more. The festival will be officially held on 15th of March, 2001, in Alisher
Navoi theatre. UzPAK National Data Network Company will be responsible for broadcasting the festival live via the Internet.
A new version of Choyhona is released. Site structure and
design have been completely changed. New added sections are: Rules, Games, Gallery, Discussions and Downloads. Two more web chat clients are added. The site is now in both English and
Russian languages.
